The role
Working in collaboration an in-house videographer / designer, course writers and senior management, this role will see the Content Marketing Manager develop the Content strategy with the aim of increasing awareness, engagement, and sales. The role will see you
- Auditing the company's current activity
- Developing a content and engagement strategy to evolve their existing activity, across social media and web content
- Working with course writers, the videographer, and external creative support to ensure that content is engaging, inspiring and generates leads / sales.
- Content will span new course launch campaigns, existing course promotion, success stories, conversational engagement activity, and much more
- Using a data led approach to both initial strategy and ongoing monitoring of content and campaign success, using insights to inform and influence future activity and improvements, both with channels under your remit, and within the wider marketing mix (eg paid social, paid search, seo)
- With assistance from the customer support team, managing a community of over 2m, engaging them through a wide array of strategies and campaigns, including competitions, interviews / testimonials, promotions and more to develop discussion
- Building relationships with key influencers on social platforms
- Reporting in to stakeholders on performance and strategy
The Person
This role may suit Content Marketing Manager, Content Manager, Social Media Manager, Content and Social Manager, or roles of this ilk. Candidates should come with some or all of the following
- over 5 years experience in defining content strategies across digital channels including the main Social Media platforms
- the ability to take complicated information and create simple, easy to understand and engaging content
- excellent written work, with experience of writing for social, blogs, web copy and marketing content such as video scripts, competitions, testimonials
- demonstrable experience of successfully managing the scheduling and delivery of large social and content campaigns
- experience in engaging, growing and managing social communities, from strategy to interaction / discussion
- Commercially focussed on working towards marketing goals with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue while maintaining a great reputation
- Driven and self motivated, whilst this is a collaborative company the role is fully remote
