Job description
You will be responsible for undertaking NDT inspection testing using various methods such as Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing and Penetrant Testing. As you will be conducting sample testing such as castings, forgings, and welds, this will involve rotational shift patterns to accommodate client needs.

Responsibilities:
- Working as a team under the direction of the Site Leader to ensure customer deadlines are met in a timely fashion including shared overtime where required
- Working as part of an NDT inspection team across 8-hour rotating shift patterns to test various parts such as castings and forgings and welds
- Working to implement and develop specific NDT techniques under the guidance of Company appointed Level 3 and Technical Managers
- Handling of customer parts and materials using assorted lifting equipment such as cranes, forklift trucks in accordance with approved lifting plans and manual handling procedures
- Assisting and conducting routine quality checks of testing equipment in accordance with approved procedures
- Attending daily SQDC meetings and contributing to overall Element fundamentals improvement via suggestion and implementation of initiatives
- Participating in 5S initiatives and following good housekeeping practices
- Qualified to at least PCN Level 2 in Radiographic Testing, preferably with CR experience in welds
- Preferably qualified to level 2 in at least 2 non-complex methods such as Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing or Visual Inspection
- Experience in testing of welds
- Significant experience within NDT industry
- Experience working within an engineering and / or Laboratory environment
- Good general standard of education particularly in English and Maths
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to work overtime where demand requires additional capacity
