An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a motivated and enthusiastic Research Assistant with relevant experience to join our Northern Care Alliance Delivery Team, supporting recruitment and sample collection and processing to support the NCA biobank (NCARC) covering a number of specialities across all sites at the NCA.
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) brings together staff and services from Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (SRFT) and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (PAT).

The NCARC Team currently support a variety of collections of biomaterial across the NCA. The research portfolio is continually evolving and by engaging new Investigator's and new commercial/non commercial partners we are diversifying into new therapeutic areas.
We are looking for a motivated and effective communicator with a ‘can do’ attitude and an eye for detail; they will need to take ownership and delivery of their work with a desire to develop their research skills. You should be organise/able to prioritise and demonstrate initiative, within the ethically approved confines of the protocol and Good Clinical Practice; able to thrive on challenges and be an effective problem solver.
You will be based at across the NCA (multiple sites) and managed by the Delivery Team Lead.
