Who are we

We are part of a group of 4 other north Gloucestershire GP practices, run by 6 dedicated GP partners, helping to deliver the best possible care for our patients. Our values are community, respect., compassion, innovation and accountability. We are based at two sites, the Park Surgery in Cirencester and Lechlade Medical Centre in Lechlade with approximately 11,700 patients across both sites. Cirencester is a vibrant and attractive market town, and the surgery is a short walk from the centre of town. Lechlade is a beautiful small Cotswolds town with a great sense of community.

Your Role

You will be improving patients’ health outcomes by providing direct, accessible and timely medicines and expertise including face to face contact with patients.

You will be an integral part of the general practice team, as well as part of a wider pharmacist network and multi-disciplinary team. This includes being a conduit of patient medicines information into and out of surrounding hospitals including Gloucester Royal, Cheltenham, Swindon, Bristol and oxford Hospital. You will work to optimise medication to improve patient safety and support clinical staff in the management of patients.

As part of your employment, you will achieve qualifications from an accredited training pathway, including independent prescribing, equipping you to be able to practise and prescribe safely and effectively in a primary care setting.

The supervision and mentorship network will be provided to support you.

Your background

· Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)

· Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals

So, if you'd love to work in an established practice, which has been rated 'Good' across all areas by the CQC and led by a dedicated team of GPs with a great support team, then we'd love to hear from you.
