Deliver a robust education and events program, supporting all brands and retailers within the Shiseido Designer fragrance brands group portfolio – including product skills and selling/service/eventing techniques to drive the business and meet productivity goals.

Our first strength is Make-up, led by NARS, the No 8 brand in the UK market with incredible success globally.
Skincare is a key priority for expansion, with Shiseido having huge growth potential in UK&I, and also the spectacular launch of Clé de Peau Beauté in Harrods and H-Beauty. Drunk Elephant joined our portfolio at the beginning of 2021 bringing its unique tone of voice together with its amazing formulations. In 2023 we are planning to launch ULE a newly created Skincare brand with breakthrough credentials around Sustainability, as well as expanding Gallinée, our most recent acquisition from 2022 and specialized around skin microbiome.
We are also growing fast in Fragrance with brands such as Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Tory Burch, Zadig&Voltaire and Serge Lutens.
Our clients include high-street retailers such as department stores, drugstores & chains as well as online pure players and specialty stores. We also have 4 boutiques and 3 direct e-commerce websites.

ORGANISATION

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working in partnership with UK&I Designer Fragrance brands marketing teams, deliver fragrance education to owned and shared BC’s
- Adapt EMEA education materials for local market relevance and conduct brand training programs for both Shiseido employed and retailer consultant teams.
- Onboard all owned fragrance consultants with product knowledge and selling behaviours to enable them to consistently achieve and exceed sales and service goals in line with published brand expectations.
- Working in partnership with the retail team, ensure fragrance consultants main engagement by planning & executing ongoing activations such as fragrance seminars and new product launch activities
- Support & deliver all retailer engagement activities in accordance with National Account Managers retailer agreements
- Manage all retailer conferences and roadshows in accordance with National Account Managers retailer agreements to deliver dynamic and engaging presentations and content
TRAINING TOOLS & PROGRAMMES
- Adapt, manage, and maintain training assets provided by Regional Head Office to ensure best fit for UK local market needs
- Oversight of Beauty Genius App & BC Facebook community to maintain engagement and promote best practices
- Support field & commercial teams (ASEM’s/BDM’s/NAM’s) with ongoing training around product launches/events & in store BC coaching for owned and retailer consultants- average 2-3 days a week
- Provide training materials for non-consultant Boots doors to support the field team in achieving sales targets
- In partnership with retail, lead the creation of tools and workshops in response to in-store learning and needs of the business
- Support PR, retail, and commercial teams at customer events to maximise brand experience and event productivity where required
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of UK fragrance training budget in partnership with Assistant Manager Education & Events
- Submit monthly accurate travel and expense reports with receipts
- Complete & submit Training plans and recaps to the Education and Events Director
- Manage own diary in accordance with business needs
PROFILE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous experience at Field Trainer level or above
- Knowledge of the fragrance and cosmetics industry
- Highly developed presentation skills across a range of training mediums and group sizes; including internal and external participants
- Able to facilitate training seminars, ensuring maximised participant learning and understanding of content
- Demonstrable excellent relationship building, collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to show agility with the changing needs of the business, excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Experience of different store group environments to understand how to leverage the best results within different retail partnerships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally Internationally
