The National Projects Team are responsible for the planning and delivery of all major capital investment and conservation projects carried out across the English Heritage Estate to inspire our visitors and tell the story of England where it happened.
We would commit to the continued development of your skills and knowledge so that you can help us maintain our position at the forefront of the heritage and tourism sectors. We are dedicated to the wellbeing of our staff and will actively support you to find the balance which allows you to thrive both inside and outside the job.
You will be based in one of our hub offices in London, Bristol or Swindon in combination with home-working and travel to heritage sites (rental car package included). You'll be required to travel regularly for this role, depending on what is required of the projects. The homeworker starting salary is £45,847, depending on your home address. The starting salary for the London office is £50,941. The starting salary for the Swindon and Bristol offices is £48,393.
Leading creative reuse, new build projects and sensitive conservation work on the most spectacular and significant historic sites in the country makes for a continually varied and unique role. No two days are the same as a Project Manager at English Heritage so be prepared to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with some of the best views in the country.
