Who are we?
The Bread Factory is a Food Manufacturing bakery dedicated to making deliciously crafted bread, cakes and pastries. We are proud to craft products for our GAIL’s bakeries, neighbourhood grocery stores, restaurants and more!
As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next National Account Manager.
Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
- Monthly forecasting and coordinating multi-functionally with production, logistic and technical teams to maximise availability, minimize wastage and execute new launches timely and without disruption.
- Contribute to an annual planning cycle and longer term commercial strategy for the Grocery channel and for the customers in your portfolio and prospective new accounts
- Full P&L accountability and delivery of budgeted sales and financial KPI’s
- Work closely with the marketing team as part of the annual planning process and implementing trade marketing initiatives
Here are some key areas we think you can impact in this role:
- Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of pure play and omnichannel retailers to reach maximum turnover and growth
- Lead customer planning with a particular emphasis on creating sustainable growth and outstanding in-store and online execution
- Develop an excellent understanding of the category’s landscape, drivers and competition using insights to shape and lead the conversation on category management with the customers
- Partner up with the retailers and negotiate effective agreements to ensure maximum visibility, healthy margins, optimal assortment, and great brand visibility in store and online
Our team tell us you will be a great addition if you have...
- 2+ years experience in a grocery environment either as an NAE/NAM or as a buyer
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent presenting styles and communication skills
- Can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial nature; you have a track record of identifying and acting upon growth opportunities
