Job description

ASAP START!

We are looking for a full time, nanny to start ASAP and work alongside our current nanny, caring for our two daughters aged 4 years, and 10 months. There are other members of staff in the household so someone who is a team player and has previous experience in a similar environment would be useful. Must be okay with dogs, as there is a family dog in the residence.

We are open to both live-in and live-out candidates. The live in accommodation provided will be a guest room with en-suite on your own floor. The family residence is based in Bayswater, London.

We are looking for a creative, educationally focused nanny to join us!

Ideally you will have a childcare qualification or degree, with nannying/nursery experience with both babies and pre-school aged children. It is essential that you have the knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and the British education system. G4 will be going to school from September so someone who is confident to help with homework, phonics and spelling is vital. For this reason we prefer for someone to be English as a mother tongue. Experience in potty training would also be useful.

Flexibility is required as we travel during the school holidays and frequently visit Turkey and Austria where you will be required to come with us. The occasional overnight stay whilst in London might be needed to help mum with the children when dad is away or the other nanny is on holiday or sick.

Regular nanny duties are required such as but not limited to:

- dropping off and picking up from school

- preparing healthy food/snacks

- bedtime routines, bath, reading books and putting the girls to bed

- organising and finding activities (both outside and in the home)

- upkeep on the girls’ laundry (if needed)

- general tidying of the girls’ toys, clothes etc

- keeping girls’ rooms, bathrooms, playroom clean and tidy

- administering medications if needed

- checking school emails, important dates

This role will be 5 days per week, Saturday-Wednesday, however this can be flexible. 7:30am-7:30pm, with the possibility of an extra half or full day when travelling and one night babysitting per week.

It is essential that you have an up to date DBS check as well as excellent references.
