Job description
A father in Warfield, Berkshire requires a full time nanny to care for his two children aged 10 and 8 years old. His preference would be for a nanny that has SEN experience, as his 8 year old son has Cerebral Paulsy and uses a wheel chair. Their daughter is currently homeschooled and has a range of learning through tutors, computer lessons, horse riding and more. The nanny may need to take her to different lessons in Bracknell or other local towns. His son attends a school which he is taken to via private transport. The family own horses and dogs, so you must be comfortable around the animals.
The role would be well suited to someone fit, helpful, proactive, a real animal lover and that has a good sense of humour!
Main duties would include cooking and batch cooking healthy meals for the children, dealing with any children’s washing and laundry, changing bedding, arranging playdates, helping with homework, visiting local parks and planning trips out, helping with bedtime, and helping with any personal care for his son, which includes administering medication. The Nanny Agent will discuss in detail with any interested applicants.
Start Date: ASAP, will wait for the right applicant and accept a temporary nanny in the meantime
Wednesday – Friday 7am until 7pm and Saturday 7am until 2pm (Total weekly hours 43, although these are flexible)
Driver Essential
At least 3 years nanny experience required
Experience with SEN required
Salary negotiable, £33,000 gross per year, negotiable
