Compensation: £40K - £42K+ per annum
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 6pm
We are seeking an experienced and cheerful Live-Out Nanny to join our family in Chiswick, London, and care for our two wonderful children - a 5-year-old boy and a 2.5-year-old girl. This is a full-time position, and we require the nanny to be available as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for our children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Create and maintain a daily routine that includes age-appropriate activities, playtime, learning, and outdoor exploration
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or allergies
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including dressing, bathing, and potty training
- Organise and participate in educational and recreational activities, such as reading, crafts, and outings to parks or other child-friendly locations
- Engage the children in age-appropriate developmental activities to foster their social, cognitive, and physical growth
- Monitor and ensure the children's safety at all times, both inside and outside the home
- Maintain open and clear communication with the parents regarding the children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns or questions that may arise
- Light housekeeping duties related to the children's areas, such as tidying up toys and doing their laundry
Requirements:
- Proven experience in caring for children under 5 years old, with excellent references
- A warm, patient, and loving personality, with a genuine passion for working with children
- Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to create a structured yet flexible routine that meets the needs of both children
- Fluent in English Speaker
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents
- Valid first aid and DBS certification
- Clean criminal record check
- Non-smoker
- Fluent in English
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (flexibility required)
- Occasional babysitting on evenings or weekends may be required, with prior notice
