Sommet Nannies is actively recruiting for a busy family in Washington D.C.. The family has one 16 month old now and new baby due in September
Hours: Mon-Fri from 8-5:00pm. About 45 hours per week but family can offer up to 45 hours per week if nanny would like heavier schedule
Extra duties: Cleaning children laundry, clean bottle and pump parts, occasional meal prep when baby is on solids.
Car is required for the job
Family would like a nanny who is highly experienced with infants, knows developmental milestones, not overly talkative, has a calm energy, discrete, detail-oriented, able to stick to a schedule, self-directed and organized, plus if familiar with sleep training and infant sleep basics
Hire-date is as soon as the right fit is found
Compensation is $70-85K per year
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), paid major holidays, 5 paid sick days, and open to offering a health-care stipend if needed
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience that can be verified
- 2+ years of infant experience (non-family)
- Holds a valid US driver’s license
- Able to provide a minimum of 3 outstanding references from prior childcare positions
- Be fully fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States
- Clean driving record
