Job description
Vale Royal Fresh Foods (WA16 9JN) are a small fresh produce manufacturer located in Allostock near Middlewich.
We are looking for a Full Time Production Operative, who is flexible and a team player to start immediately.
Salary starts at £11.00 and will increase dependant on experience, training and responsibilities.
Duties will include:
- Packing bags (maximum 4kg) onto pallets/cages/trays
- Wrapping the product securely onto pallets
- Raking to separate the product
- Lifting and manual handling of products/pallets
- Using pallet trucks
- Clearing the floor of product waste into containers
- Moving equipment and containers ready for the Hygiene team
- Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and company policies
- Any other production duties as required by the Production Supervisor
Opportunity to train and become a machine operator with training.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a production factory is beneficial
- Knowledge of powered and non-powered pallet trucks an advantage
- Counter Balance FLT experience would also be valuable
Hours:
06:00 - 15:00 hrs (2 x 30 mins unpaid break)
Full Time Position
Sun - Fri (5 day working week) Sat and 1 day off during the week
Due to the location, access to own transport is essential.
