Job Description: Hinsdale family seeking a proactive and dependable Nanny for a 4-year old.

Schedule: Guaranteed 45 hours per week. M-F 7:30am – 5:00pm.

Compensation: $1,250/weekly + vacation, holidays, PTO

Job Details and Responsibilities:

• One child: 4yo who will be attending part-time school in the Fall.
• Primary responsibility is childcare such as taking the child to parks, zoos, etc., helping with preparing child’s meals, taking child to classes such as soccer, and providing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones.
• Light housekeeping related to the child will be expected: tidying and organizing toys, kid laundry, kitchen clean-up, etc.
• Family has 1 large dog. Nanny should be comfortable with letting the dog outside from time to time.
• Both parents work from home half of the week, with one parent home most of the time. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.

Qualifications:

• Nanny should have verifiable nannying experience and is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
• Ability to transition into a Nanny Manager role as the child gets older.
• Reliable and communicative. Will make sure to arrive on time each day.
• Warm and caring, with a positive attitude.
• Self-sufficient and proactive.
• Nanny needs to be proficient with swimming as the family has a pool the child uses.
• Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Family will provide a vehicle.
• COVID and Flu vaccinations preferred.
