Job Description: Hinsdale family seeking a proactive and dependable Nanny for a 4-year old.

Schedule: Guaranteed 45 hours per week. M-F 7:30am – 5:00pm.

Compensation: $1,250/weekly + vacation, holidays, PTO

Job Details and Responsibilities:

One child: 4yo who will be attending part-time school in the Fall.
Primary responsibility is childcare such as taking the child to parks, zoos, etc., helping with preparing child’s meals, taking child to classes such as soccer, and providing developmentally appropriate activities.
Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones.
Light housekeeping related to the child will be expected: tidying and organizing toys, kid laundry, kitchen clean-up, etc.
Family has 1 large dog. Nanny should be comfortable with letting the dog outside from time to time.
Both parents work from home half of the week, with one parent home most of the time. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.

Qualifications:

Nanny should have verifiable nannying experience and is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
Ability to transition into a Nanny Manager role as the child gets older.
Reliable and communicative. Will make sure to arrive on time each day.
Warm and caring, with a positive attitude.
Self-sufficient and proactive.
Nanny needs to be proficient with swimming as the family has a pool the child uses.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Family will provide a vehicle.
COVID and Flu vaccinations preferred.
