ur client is a leading chilled food manufacturer who are looking for an experienced NAM/SNAM to look after their Sainsbury's and Asda accounts.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in generating strategy by customer and product.
- Implement tactics in your Team to deliver the strategies.
- Bring concepts, opportunities and key decisions to the Commercial Executive Team for all accounts under your management.
- Formalise Commercial Exec strategy into short, medium and long-term plans.
- Utilise available planning tools throughout your Team to provide accurate short, medium and long-term profiles to support daily and weekly supply chain management, budgeting and crop programming and capacity and investment plans for the business.
- Assess and agree budgets and targets.
- Deploy relevant tactics within your Team to achieve strategic plans, budgets and targets.
- Minimise spend and Team expenses while ensuring all employees have the correct tools to appropriately undertake their responsibilities.
- Understand and communicate the impact of promotions and marketing versus the related investment, ensuring we leverage the greatest possible benefit for minimum outlay.
- Work with Product Managers to monitor returns and achieve pre-determined targets.
- Work with Product Managers to monitor availability, avoiding loss-making trading.
- Co-ordinate product development plans in conjunction with the Marketing and Developing Teams via Product Manager to establish investments and activities required.
- Utilise available planning tools throughout your Team to provide accurate short and medium sales profiles to support supply chain management and programming.
- Build strong, long term relationships with customers.
- Represent our businesses long term interests, tailoring their expectations to align ourselves with our customers for the long term.
- Sell the company's points of difference in investment/category insight/labour management/scale/capabilities/innovation/vertical integration/ethical aggressively to customers.
- Structure your Team to provide outstanding customer service and industry leading communication.
- Secure a minimum of one customer Senior Team visit per year.
- Prepare monthly data for communication to customers’ Senior Management.
