Job description
How would you like to make a living from music in Nottingham?
Front Row Music are looking for enthusiastic guitar and ukulele tutors to work with us in primary schools across Nottingham from September 2023 onwards. Ideally, you will have some previous teaching experience as well as being able to drive, however neither are totally essential. You will be working in primary schools helping us deliver fun lessons to small groups of children through the week, so it's an ideal role if you're a gigging musician at weekends.
This role is on a freelance/self-employed basis, so hours can be flexible and grown over time.
Who are we?
We are a music tuition company based in the North West, with franchises across the UK and beyond. Our goal is to deliver fun, dynamic and interactive lessons for guitar, ukulele and keyboards in primary schools. We have been featured in the Parliamentary Review, and are proud winners of the Big Venture Challenge business award.
What can you bring to the team?
To join the team, you'll need to be:
- Enthusiastic
- Good with kids
- Reliable
- A good communicator
- Creative
- Organised
- Able to play guitar, ukulele or keyboard to a good standard
- Based in, or able to travel to, areas of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire during the week in term time.
- In possession of or willing to obtain enhanced DBS check and public liability insurance.
We love when experienced tutors enquire, but experience is not an essential requirement.
