Job Purpose:
A position is available to join the team at a top London law firm, in a great location near Fenchurch Street station and soon to be relocating into a brand-new building in Bishopsgate near Liverpool Street Station. The team perform a number of different day to day office service duties and are the client’s floor support to ensure everything works as it should. The concierge team also perform a number of tasks basic IT duties including looking after all printer/photocopier maintenance. Any floor problems or issues are handled by the concierge team including liaising with other departments/suppliers to ensure the client is allowed to focus on their normal work duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- First line support for all printer issues like changing toners, clearing paper jams etc. Liaison with printer companies to book engineers if printer fault can’t be fixed by the concierge.
- Post deliveries to desks for all mail, couriers and printing.
- Booking, Tracking outgoing couriers
- Post collections from floor mail out trays.
- Stocking floors of various paper, toner, flatpack boxes etc.
- Ensuring that the stationery areas of each are floor are tidy and well stocked. Regular stock checks of each stationery area are needed so that a stationery order can be produced and sent to relevant team for ordering.
- Management of Business Cards and other branded print
- Basic IT fixes for clients on the floors. Liaison with Technology Support for more complex IT issues.
- Stock and delivery of DCSE equipment to clients on floors.
- Floor maintenance fault escalation to relevant helpdesk i.e. aircon issues, broken furniture etc. Liaise with maintenance team if necessary to ensure the job is complete.
- Ensure floor meetings rooms are tidy and stocked.
- If a client is WFH and requires an item or particular document from their office the concierge will locate item and then pass on to relevant team who arrange for it to be sent to the clients home.
- Ensure floors in general are tidy and corridors are left clear.
- Assist in moving boxes around floors.
- Provide office services and general company advice to clients on floors.
- Archiving
- Printing / Photocopy / Scanning/Finishing of print jobs

The ideal candidate will display knowledge and experience of the following;
Qualifications
- Good standard of Mathematics & English
Skills/Competencies
- Excellent English language and communication skills; confident and articulate in all communications, i.e. face-to-face, telephone and written.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Applicants must be highly computer literate and experienced with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Confident with using various IT systems.
- Basic IT skills
- An attention to detail; maintaining and enhancing our high standards of delivery, quality and accuracy.
Knowledge
- Basic IT knowledge
- Customer Service experience
Previous experience
- Experience in working in an office services environment or for an office services team.
- Experience of working in a client facing role.
Experience required
- Previously worked in a client facing role
- Confident in dealing with people
