Do you want to reclaim your weekends?! If so, we currently have a role working Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am with shorter working days on Fridays, 5.30pm – 10pm. (38 hours total per week).
About the Role:
Working in a highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing GMP environment, you will be joining a team of highly skilled engineers as part of the wider site maintenance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving operationally critical equipment and to provide electrical cover on night shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Planned and Breakdown Maintenance
- Receive EWO’s and responding promptly or as instructed by the Maintenance Engineering Team Leader.
- To work with the Engineering Stores person to ensure stock levels of appropriate parts are maintained and to identify opportunities for improving the provision of spares.
- To actively contribute to the site wide 6S program
Engineering Projects
- To provide technical guidance on plant and equipment specification.
- To occasionally be involved in the installation and commissioning of equipment.

- Be qualified to a minimum level of NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. 17th/18th edition qualifications would be highly desirable. You will be the sole electrician on night shift.
- A strong previous track record of working in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Automation/inverters experience ideally
