Bolt Digital & D2C Live is already a reputable name in the ecommerce industry, with a thriving community and events series, lead by the entrepreneur Tash Courtenay-Smith. With a focus on ecommerce initiatives, we pride ourselves on our unique approach to business and our commitment to excellence.

We are now building out our media arm further to include television and podcast advertising opportunities across three clear niches and we are building a media sales & sponsorship team to support this growth.

The programme / broadcast niches are:

1) Ecommerce

2) Female entrepreneurship

3) Kids education / business

Role Overview:

As a Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue by securing sponsorships and partnerships for our media projects. This includes selling sponsorship slots for our television programs on Sky, such as "Biz Kids," as well as sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming "Tash Talks" podcast and television show. Additionally, you'll be responsible for cultivating partnerships, including grants and donations, to support our Biz Kids initiative. You will be at the forefront of our media sales efforts, strategically identifying and targeting companies that align with our diverse audiences and have budgets for above-the-line and podcast advertising. Your expertise in audience segmentation and market analysis will drive your outreach to these potential partners, showcasing the unique value and exposure they can gain through sponsorships and collaborations with our compelling content. Through persuasive communication and a deep understanding of their needs, you'll effectively convert these opportunities into lasting partnerships, maximising their brand visibility and aligning their goals with our innovative media initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Sales: Identify and target potential sponsors, presenting compelling sponsorship packages tailored to their needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors to ensure ongoing partnerships.
  • Partnership Development: Explore partnership opportunities to secure grants, donations, and other financial support for our Biz Kids program.
  • Media Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our team to align sponsorship opportunities with the content of our television programs and podcasts.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand your network and identify potential sponsors and partners.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms, contracts, and deliverables with sponsors and partners to create mutually beneficial arrangements.
  • Budget Management: Track and manage budgets related to sponsorship and partnership activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sponsorship sales and media sales.
  • Strong understanding of media industry trends and sponsorship best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Creative thinking to tailor sponsorship proposals to meet diverse sponsor needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with sponsors and partners.
  • Experience in grant application and fundraising is a plus.
