Multi Skilled Engineers
Full Time – 40 hours per week
£30,000 to £35,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment and sport, we host over 100 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors each year.
Home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team, where they play 30+ home league & cups games each season.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking to recruit Multi Skilled Engineers to be responsible for the reactive and planned maintenance within our venue.
The primary objectives for our Multi Skilled Engineers are:
- To undertake and manage maintenance and upkeep of building wide plumbing and HVAC systems
- Manage the performance and efficiency of plant and machinery
- Supervise and train staff on core and specific skills and procedures. Including Multiskilled technicians
- Undertake and manage reactive maintenance, installation, inspection and testing of all aspects of building fixtures and fabric
- Upkeep of Schedules and certificates on relevant systems
- Write and implement Risk assessments and COSHH Assessments
- Implement the work request System
- Control of BMS scheduling, maintenance, and smooth operation
- Procure and manage contractors
- Source best value for services and materials
- Diagnose breakdown problems and initiating repairs
- Cover the role of Manager on Duty when required.
- Emergency Call out when needed
- Responsible for projects across facilities and specific areas.
In addition, our Multi Skilled Engineers will:
- Provide first class reactive and planned maintenance services to the National Ice Centre, including both its internal and external customers
- Work alone and with team assist with general building maintenance as required.
- Ensure all duties are carried out ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory legislation including Health & Safety, licensing, and safeguarding.
- Maintain plant, tools, building fabric and machinery in good working order
- Complete checks and maintain logbooks
- Management of systems
- Provide technical support across the business. supervise contractors
- Source and purchase spares, parts and services to provide Best Value
Requirements
The successful candidate will be PC literate with the ability to work with computerised maintenance and financial systems. They will hold a City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma or NVQ Level 1 certificate in a practical trade. IOSHH, First Aid and IPAF training would be an advantage.
With experience of working with A/V systems, managing staff and operating a BMS (or other technical software) they will have had experience of working within a multi discipline role, where they have had to undertake physical labour. They will also have experience of managing budgets. Due to the needs of our business, they will be flexible in their approach to working hours as evening and weekend work will be required.
