Multi Drop Driver 3.5 Tonne curtain sider vehicle.
Driving Experience: 1 year
Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
J4 Packaging are a packaging supplier and box manufacturer. We produce bespoke boxes and supply packaging to our customer’s requirements and pride ourselves on the service and quality we provide.
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with our regular customers as well as building new ones. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving a company delivery vehicle (3.5 tonne curtain slider van) in a careful and courteous manner. The deliveries are mainly within the West Midlands area.
Reporting to the Company Director / Warehouse Manager, you will need to ensure all goods loaded are delivered to the customers and the paperwork is completed correctly. You will also need to help the warehouse staff to load the vehicle when required so lifting is involved.
Key duties:
- Delivering goods to customers and making sure all paperwork is complete and signed for.
- Load and Unload goods if required & checking all stock is correct
- Follow schedules provided by the warehouse
- Assist with additional duties in the warehouse to maintain the working environment in a clean and tidy condition when not on deliveries.
- Communicate any customer issues to sales department via phone whilst on route.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations whilst driving
Personal attributes:
- Valid & clean driver’s license
- Ability to navigate and use GPS device or maps for deliveries
- Physically fit for lifting and carrying goods.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- A team player with the ability to also work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
