We're now recruiting a new Equity Dealer to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for executing customer orders in UK and International Equities, Fixed Income securities, Structured Products and FX whilst adhering to Best Execution rules.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Taking and Executing trades in accordance with Regulations and specifically ensure Best Execution, Timely Execution and Order Priority rules are followed at all times
- Monitoring of Limit and Stop Loss orders
- To maintain good relations with both clients and market makers.
- To keep abreast of market/company updates.
- Assist Head Dealer/Equity Dealing Team Manager on projects.
- Take and respond to client queries and assist other departments within A J Bell when necessary.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of any change to FCA and LSE rules and regulations by which they are bound.
- Reporting of any breaches to line management and Compliance
- Assist Collectives Dealers when required
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure all dealing related reconciliation issues are cleared within agreed timeframes
About you:
- At least two years experience in the same or similar role
- Level 3 CISI certificate in securities together with the Regulatory Module or equivalents
- Competent with the use of all dealing applications
- Maintain competency for FCA regulated role CF30 as assessed on an annual basis.
- FCA Registered for Company Trading
- Up to date knowledge of code of market conduct and dealing rules and regulations
- Excellent team working and organisational skills

- Tenacious and persuasive with the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
