Key Responsibilities
- To provide direction, guidance and support to all staff within the services and to ensure they are able to carry out their role effectively
- Implementation of the National Cleaning standards 2021
- To create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with all major stakeholders (colleagues, patients, visitors & Clients Staff) in line with best practice, in order to ensure satisfaction with our service & to demonstrate commitment to our long-term presence with the Trust
- To manage and maintain an effective level of resource to meet service demand while meeting the required financial targets
- To manage and evaluate objectives and targets for the service as outlined in the business plan. To compile and prepare financial plans, budgets and forecasts and service related business cases within specified time frames as per Company policy and procedure
- To ensure that quality monitoring, activity reporting and performance monitoring is fully and properly implemented and maintained as per Company policy and procedure
- Ensure all targets and objectives are met. To minimise KPI Penalties and ensure all tasks are completed within the SLA
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Healthcare management
- Good general education
- Experience of risk management
- Experience or proven ability in working and leading in teams/own initiative
- Experience of client liaison and negotiation in service sector preferably health service
- Basic Knowledge of the operation of the National Health Service and patient care
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation – minimum Level 3 in H&S
- Ability to communicate both written and verbal to senior management level.
- Ability to plan and effectively execute projects meeting required target dates.
- Ability to solve problems in an effective manner
