We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our team as a band 2 ward assistant/ housekeeper to provide support to the ward staff with housekeeping type duties in Ward 206/ 207, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is a full time post 37.5hrs/ week post Monday- Friday.
We are a busy 38-bedded general surgery unit working across two wards specialising in colorectal, hepatobiliary, upper gastro-intestinal and bariatric surgery. We have a focus on enhanced recovery for all patients.
We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who is able to work within the team, in a patient facing role, providing clinical and administration support to assist nursing staff at ward level.
The successful candidate must be caring, compassionate and flexible. They must be able to meet the demands of the service and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
