We are looking for either an experienced Medical Staffing Administrator or an individual who is keen to learn to provide a comprehensive and effective Medical Staffing Administration Service including the provision of advice and guidance on terms and conditions to all doctors and dentists covered by NHS Lothian, the processing of pay enquiries and undertaking the management of Doctors in Training rotations for NHS Lothian. This post would either suit someone who already has experience working in Medical Administration in the NHS or someone who is looking to start their career in the NHS. For the Trainee Medical Administrator post we would offer a 12 month training programme during which you would be paid at Band 3 and on successful completion of the training programme you would progress to the Band 4 salary. The Trainee post would be an ideal post for someone with good administration skills but looking for a more challenging role.
