We now have an exciting opportunity for Stores Assistant - 24 hours a week to join our Kitchen Department.
As a Stores Assistant you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:
- Receiving all goods delivered to the hotel
- Ensuring all goods received are checked against orders and required specifications.
- Checking all food deliveries against purchase order for Temperature, Quality, Quantity, Weight, damage etc.
- Reporting any problems or concerns with suppliers to the Head Store so this can be managed and recorded accordingly.
- Updating Procure Wizard with all the days deliveries.
- Assisting the Senior Stores Person in ensuring all returns are recorded and credit received from suppliers when required.
- Controlling receipt and return of chargeable containers.
- Keeping the loading bay area clean & tidy at all times to maintain health and safety, easy access and exit and to ensure there is no disruption to service.
- Being responsible for the delivery of goods to departments and obtain signatures for delivered goods.
- Labelling and store away all food and beverage deliveries.
- Monitoring cellar/storerooms security and conditions including stock rotation in all F&B areas.
- Being responsible for the refuse area, ensuring they are ready for collection and the area is clean and tidy.
- Monitoring the car park at SMP to ensure it is clean and tidy and that any defects are reported.
