Role Overview
Work closely with the VP Passenger Solutions and Director Movie Acquisitions and liaise with the Commercial Team to ensure that proposed deals and commitments are commercially sound and able to be fulfilled.
Duties & Responsibilities
Deal planning and ongoing accountability of all accounts teams and deal tracking to support the P&L tracking and reporting of the Commercial Team
- Commercial analysis of proposed content packages, bundles and deals on an annual and ongoing basis
- Manage the content information and collaboration with the Dev Team (tech) for all movie content avails, as well as ongoing development of the system for improvements and upgrades
- Research general industry trends across content and IFE; work closely with the Spafax IQ team (data analytics) to review data for overarching strategy, insights and commercial direction for deals and bundles
- New client onboarding including client support, account team onboarding and training for the “how-to” of the processes and procedures
- RFP strategy working with Business Development and Commercial Teams for analysis and content enhancements
- Client-specific data analysis, usage analysis and content strategy recommendations in collaboration with the Director of Movie Acquisitions and wider Hive (centralized content) team
Experience & Skills
- Strong commercial background and experience in negotiations and contract terms with suppliers (min 5 years)
- Expertise in Excel
- Entertainment experience (studio, network, broadcaster, distribution) and / or experience in content acquisitions or scheduling (min 5 years)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional / cross-office team; communicate with staff, customers, and suppliers at all levels
- Attention to detail
