Motion Designer

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Motion & Graphic Designer, who can be involved from the very start of a project, brainstorming ideas and work up creative concepts. You’ll have an outstanding balance of working within a supportive team but also having plenty of autonomy to work your own magic.

Our content creators at Populate are crucial – their work is the culmination of the hard graft put in by every member of the agency, as well as being the visual representation of everything we aspire to—so it’s a demanding, fast-paced but a rewarding position!

Key Competencies:

Advanced knowledge in creating thumbnails, stings, intros and outros for episodic content + animated text, diagrams and infographics for visual explainers.
You’ll be creating anything from GIFs to longer-form 2D animation for our clients across the sports, events, ecom, FMGC sectors. So if you enjoy taking on different styles and applying your skills across a broad range of clients, this role will be pretty up your street.

What to expect:

You’ll be involved from concept to delivery, ensuring the creative aligns with your vision, clients’ brand guidelines, and the strategy the team has created.
You’ll be working closely with our Account Managers and Paid Advertising team to create content—brainstorming together and creating concepts that fit the client’s target and brief.
Working on a different client daily—we work with a broad range of clients, one day you’ll be putting together a motion graphic for a sports club, the next day creating a promo image announcing a line-up for a music festival, to creating an animation to show how to construct a slapping pizza.
