As a Mid-Weight Motion Graphic Designer, you will join our Creative Team within the Footasylum Marketing Department. Developing the graphic and motion visual language of the business across all touch points. You will be working to generate motion solutions to enhance Footasylum’s creative campaigns both instore and online and overseeing the full rollout from concept to store.
Working within the Creative Team demands a range of responsibilities including working with the retail and video teams on all store screen rollouts, answering marketing social briefs, and collaborating with the Creative team to deliver motion and graphic assets for Footasylum campaigns. To be successful in this role you should be able to confidentially communicate your ideas, successfully implement feedback and be receptive to changing consumer needs and industry trends.
Overview -
- Provide direction on motion and graphic campaign roll out solutions and communicate them to the Artwork and Video teams.
- Collaborate with Creatives offering motion and graphic solutions across a range of creative concepts and briefs. Assisting with graphic ideation alongside the creative.
- Champion Footasylum’s proposition as a brand and ensure it lives within all briefs for a consistent brand experience.
- Research consumer trends within and beyond the industry including store visits, competitor analysis and the Footasylum’s consumer.
- Collect references to industry trends and relevant campaigns and share with the wider team.
- Work in close contact with the marketing team to ensure delivery of all assets on time and in full.
- Follow processes and structures that help to guarantee the best possible campaign delivery.
- Build relationships with the wider Creative, Marketing and Studio teams, being readily available to collaborate and implement feedback when necessary.
The Team
The Creative team functions as a part of the larger Marketing department and we work extremely closely with Brand, Ecommerce and the Studio team to bring campaigns to the life.
Reporting into the Creative Manager, you will have weekly meetings to discuss ongoing workload and goal setting. You will also have the opportunity for quarterly meetings to discuss longer term strategy and goal setting.
Our goal is to create an environment in which you can learn new skills, gain experience in existing ones and improve your knowledge of the consumer continually. You will be supported in your journey and will be pushed to take on new challenges and expand your knowledge.
The Studio is a dynamic and exciting place to work with every day being different. We have eComm running daily, as well as teams working on social and creative photoshoots. The team strive to create amazing content, always wanting to progress and develop their skills. Teamwork is huge over at the studio. We work collaboratively, supporting and encouraging one another to produce work which we are proud of. It is a fast-paced environment with new jobs being discussed, planned, and shot every day.
About You
A perfect opportunity for someone with 3+years in a motion graphics role now looking to challenge themselves and take the next steps in their creative career, looking to soak up the experience but not afraid to challenge the norm with consumer and cultural input. Ideally you will have some proven work experience as motion graphic designer or similar.
We are looking for someone to bring vibrance and energy into a studio environment and have the confidence to art direct in a busy on set environment.
To be successful in this role you should be able to confidentially communicate your ideas, successfully implement feedback and be receptive to changing consumer needs and industry trends.
You will have strong knowledge of Adobe suite software (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D
Have an attention to detail in colour, typography and layout. Be able to work with 2D and 3D graphics and motion design and be able to work from brand guidelines and generate ideas from scratch.
A key area we would like you to be able to demonstrate is the ability to grasp industry trends and have a passion for streetwear and footwear to truly get under the skin of our community.
