An exciting opportunity awaits you as a Motion Graphic Designer within Samsung’s TV/AV Training Team – a fast-paced, award-winning team dedicated to delivering a best-in-class product and sales training for the retail environment.

Salary: £30-32K

As part of a small team of content creators, the Motion Graphic Designer will create animated content for a variety of training projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the client and training team members to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.
Your animations will be created to a high standard, often with a quick turnaround, to excite all audiences. The most successful candidate will be a quick learner who is a versatile and passionate animator.
This role will see you working for CPM on behalf of Samsung, reporting to the Content Team Manager on a day-to-day basis and working within the wider Samsung TVAV Training Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creation of animated content for a range of marketing and training materials.
- Ensuring all content is delivered in line with Samsung brand guidelines, tone of voice and strategies from the TV/AV Division.
- Collaborate with the Training Team as a whole and wider Samsung connections to develop projects from concept through to delivery of the final product.
- Present concepts and final deliverables to internal stakeholders and the client when requested.
- Engage Samsung TVAV target audiences through internal HQ direction, research, and implementation of related insights.
- Critique and proofread own work and revise content based on internal and client feedback.
- Timeline management for visibility and effective delivery of projects.
- Being considered a professional within your field & possess the desire to add value.
- Assistance on other team projects that fall outside the initial scope will be requested when and where needed.
The ideal person:
- Can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload.
- Has a minimum of three years’ experience creating animated video material under brief in a professional working environment- with a solid portfolio of work displaying a wide variety of styles
- Has a degree (or equivalent) in computer animation or digital and media arts. Alternatively, qualifications in 2D animation
- Has working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud titles (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Will raise the bar continually by creating fresh, exciting animations that connect with a desired audience and drive action while varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging.
- Understands the language needed to engage increasingly social media-savvy audiences and the ways they consume information.
- Are adept at working on your own and within a team of talented content creators and trainers alike.
- Has a sense of fun and passion for your work is a given.
