Job description
A developmental post working as an Apprentice in Healthcare Science supporting the Urological and Gastrointestinal Physiology Teams and providing specialist Healthcare Science input and services.
The successful applicant will undergo all necessary training (the Pearson BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare Science and completion of inhouse training and competencies) in order to undertake a range of physiological measurement roles such as running urine flow rate investigations performing ultrasound bladder residual scanning, calibrating equipment, removing pH catheters, downloading patient studies from portable monitors, and assisting with Wireless pH studies.
The successful applicant with work closely with more senior members of the team and suitable levels of supervision and support with be provided at all times.
