Job description
Nanny / Parental Help required near Paxton:
Looking for part time help, ideally on a permanent basis. It is a busy rural household with three children (aged 6 to 11) along with two friendly dogs.
The hours / days may vary between term and holiday time. Ideally the applicant will be available for around 15 hours a week spread over 3 or 4 days. During term time the help is required from mid-afternoon; in the holidays it is likely to be longer days starting at 0930hrs and ending mid-afternoon. There is a certain amount of flexibility with exact hours.
A full UK driving licence will be essential.
Duties will include:
- General Child Care
- Ensuring school uniforms are prepared for the next day
- Some driving including school pick-up and clubs.
- Cooking (tea during term and lunch in the holidays)
- Ensuring kitchen and bedrooms are tidy and clean
- Overseeing bath time
It would be the beneficial if the applicant:
- has some experience in child care
- is able to assist with cooking meals for children
- has a full and valid driving licence
- is trustworthy and reliable
- has good references
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
