Live out Mother’s Help Job, Surrey (GU5)
We have a fantastic position for a great all-rounder to support a busy Mum. There are currently two children (B4 and B17 months.) A new baby is due in August, a maternity Nurse will be employed. The family also have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
This is an ideal position for a candidate who has a helpful, pro-active, and flexible attitude, who is willing to be that “go to person” for the mum. This is a shared role and requires great deal of communication and trust and someone who is looking for a varied role.
Duties include:
- Shared care of the children
- General housekeeping duties related to the children but willingness to help housekeepers elsewhere if the children are busy.
- Children’s laundry and some cooking (healthy eating)
- Cleaning/tidying of children’s areas and organising/rotating toys
- Cleaning up after mealtimes
- Stocking up nappy bags and changing stations
- Cleaning the pram, car seats etc
- Organising clothes
- Occasional PA duties/errand running.
- Willingness to travel abroad (USA mostly but won’t be this year)
- A driver is essential, a car provided for work purposes.
- Occasionally in Notting Hill, London. Can stay overnight in London when needed.
Ideal person for the role:
- Discreet. Willingness to respect family time and to step back and pick up elsewhere when mother is with the children. Able to read the room.
- Proactive/can-do attitude. Happy to do whatever is needed.
- Highly organised and strong hygiene standards.
- Experienced with toddlers and babies.
- Able to work in a team alongside other staff members.
- Appreciation of the outdoors
- Respect for independent play
- DBS/paediatric first aid
- Full clean driving license
Start date: June
Working days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm.
Salary: Within Market Rate, Negotiable for the right candidate
