The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a band 3 Mortuary Assistant to work in a
a busy NHS Hospital in Birmingham. We are looking for a mortuary assistant who can make a real difference in supporting the hospital’s mortuary service.

Position: Mortuary Assistant
Banding: 3
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Duration: Ongoing

What will you be doing in this Mortuary Assistant role?
As a Mortuary Assistant, you will be expected to have sufficient previous experience of working within an NHS mortuary setting, particularly experienced in doing body checks and liaising with funeral directors.
On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting the senior mortuary staff in the delivery of the service.

Essential Requirements for this Mortuary Assistant position:

• Experience dealing with funeral directors

• UK NHS mortuary experience preferrable
