Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sheffield Children's NHSFT for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual to join the paediatric mortuary service as a Band 4 Mortuary Administration Assistant.
The successful candidate will join the small but busy team, to work in a recently renovated and expanded paediatric mortuary. The service conducts over 450 post mortems per year, covers up to 24 coroners areas and 20 hospital trusts for babies and children ranging from 12 weeks gestation to 18 years of age including specialist forensic cases.
The post holder is responsible for the organisation of administrative and secretarial tasks, assisting with family viewings, the receipt and release of bodies and assist with the management of organ retention tasks within the mortuary service.
