Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Building Community Area Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all community areas in the building are kept clean and tidy, including the building entrance, corridors, back stairs, elevators, doors, windows, garbage rooms, and other common areas. The candidate must have a basic understanding of the English language and be willing to work flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all community areas regularly
- Clean and sanitize all doors, windows, and mirrors in the community areas
- Empty and dispose of garbage and recycling from common areas and garbage rooms
- Assist with setting up and taking down tables and chairs in community areas as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while on the job
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- No formal education required
- Basic understanding of the English language
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services is preferred
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
