Bosworth Independent College is a relatively small college of approximately 300 students. OVERVIEW OF THE JOB
We take great pride in our appearance and the cleaning team play a crucial part in this, ensuring a professional, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. We have an exciting part-time opportunity for someone to join our Operations Team as Cleaner.
This is a part time role 15 hours per week, 9am until 12 midday Monday to Friday (morning hours can be flexible).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
In accordance with the Offices and Classrooms/ Residential Accommodation Schedule, duties will include:
Empty all waste basket liners in to sacks and replace with clean liners. Empty all bins into the location’s large containers (Evening Shift)- Dust and polish all clear desks and other furniture including all legs and sides (Evening Shift)
- Clean all sinks, urinals, toilets, showers, soap areas, partition/cubicles and all mirrors (smear free)
- Vacuum, Sweep or mop all floors in all areas including stairs, Porches and Entrances ensuring gum is removed. Vacuum all soft furnishings including corners
- Ensure toilet holders are full
- Spot clean walls and soft furnishings
- Dust/wipe all computer/TV screens, vending machines, cabinets and fridges
- Wash doors and door frames
- Wash/dust/wipe all skirting boards
- Wipe down radiators and pipe work
- Wipe/dust the tops of all cupboards
- Dust and remove cobwebs from inside of the windows
- Damp wipe window ledges and other items such as fire extinguishers, tops of panelling etc.
- Wash down banisters
- Undertake deep cleans - an average of 4 times per year
- Other related duties as directed by the management from time to time
