The high-performing Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization is essential to enabling TikTok's advertising business growth. We partner with business leaders in strategy setting, revenue planning, sales & client incentive policy-making, driving operational effectiveness in tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive and fruitful partnerships cross-functionally.
The Strategy & Operations Lead will be joining the Global Monetization Strategy & Operations team in the United Kingdom, based in London. This organized and efficient professional must be flexible and able to wear multiple hats while working closely with our cross functional teams and prioritizing the needs of the team. This role focuses on Strategic Planning, Commercial Operations, Projects and Research. In addition, the role will work with cross-functional teams to find potential for improvement and proactively find solutions to improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop yearly and quarterly commercial strategy for the UK business, e.g., revenue ambition, strategic initiatives, headcount resourcing needs.
- Conceptualize, structure and implement regional projects, e.g., sales process optimization, organizational change, CRM optimization, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market and competitor research to define future strategy, e.g., industry research, business models research, product assessments.
- Drive monitoring of UK commercial performance, e.g., defining and tracking key performance metrics, developing performance dashboards, assessing business operations trends.
- Partner closely with UK and regional commercial and cross-functional stakeholders, e.g., salesteams, product, marketing, policy, HR.
- Manage day-to-day commercial operations, e.g., target setting, account transfers, client incentives.
- Lead UK Monetization & Strategy team: setting direction and priorities, driving skillset and professional development.
- Proven experience in top tier consulting and/or technology business operations.
- Knowledge of advertising, social media or entertainment industry is highly desirable.
- Previous management experience of teams of 2-5 people.
- Autonomous leader capable of delivering on goals and managing senior stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and cross-cultural environment in large organizations.
- Fast learner able to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of processes and business trends.
- Structured thinker able to cut through complex problems and develop pragmatic solutions.
- Able and willing to focus both on the long-term strategy and the day-to-day operations.
- As this role works within the UK market, business fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential to the success of this role. Any additional European languages are a bonus!
