Modern Apprenticeship - Business and Administration Apprenticeship - Trainee Clerical Officer
Annex 21 - As a trainee your pay is determined as a percentage of pay for qualified staff, in accordance with Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms and conditions, however as NHS Scotland is a living wage employer you will be paid £23,362 (if part time hours, the salary will be pro-rata)
NHS Lanarkshire are delighted to announce that we have a number of opportunities within Lanarkshire for a Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.
Locations;
Beckford St, Bellshill Health Centre, Coathill Hospital, Viewpark Health Centre, University Hospital Wishaw, Airdrie Locality, Coatbridge Locality, CAMHS (NHS Lanarkshire), Hunter Health Centre. As part of the application process you will be asked to select which location(s) you wish to be considered for.
Please note this is a fixed term post for 12 months from 21st August 2023.
Various contract hours available - if part time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
In order to be eligible for the Modern Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must be aged between 16 to 24 years old on 1st August 2023 (or up to 29 years for disabled applicants or those that are care experienced*) and should be able to demonstrate that they can work to SCQF level 5. .
This could be an excellent opportunity for you to gain on-the-job training that will support you in developing a range of business and administrative skills. You will be required to work towards a Level 5 SCQF qualification in Business and Administration, these appointments will be fixed term for a period of up to one year and will lead to a relevant nationally recognised qualification.
You should be highly motivated and committed to join our Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.
You should be a good communicator with an ability to understand a range of procedures and processes, with a particular interest in administrative roles, along with a positive approach to work, with basic IT skills and knowledge of software packages.
This Apprenticeship does not require previous experience within this sector and we would therefore encourage applications from school leavers and young people with limited work experience.
