Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join Aston University in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, providing vital technical support to our teaching and research activities. You will be primarily supporting students studying our Mechanical, Biomedical, and Design Engineering programs, and supporting the research activity across the college.
You will be customer-focused and can work well with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be working across our Modelshop and Makerspace. The Modelshop is home to our 3D printers which produce models from plastic, metal, resin, rubber and powder materials. The makerspace is home to our laser cutter, hot wire cutters, acrylic benders, vac formers, silicon moulding, clay modelling and finishing rooms for sanding and spraying.
