Student Accommodation Manager Belfast, Northern Ireland

Mezzino (www.mezzino.com) are a privately owned UK and Irish student accommodation provider. We manage over 5000 beds across 24 accommodations in 15 different locations and we are now getting ready for the next part of our adventures as we prepare for the opening of our first property in Northern Ireland, 'Bradbury Place' in Belfast.
We now require a dynamic & confident Accommodation Manager to work in our new 170 bed student accommodation which will have modern en-suites and studios, private gym, cinama room, study rooms and a huge amenity space.
You will be a self-starter, well-organised and able to think on your feet with strong interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for maximising occupancy levels and maintaining the operational efficiency of the site. You will be expected to liaise closely with the student-tenants (and their parents), university personnel and external contractors.
Main responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound enquiries regarding accommodation at the site
- Ensure tenants have paid deposits and signed tenancy agreements
- Ensure that all rent is collected promptly and arrears are chased.
- Recruit and manage on-site team.
- Work closely with Head Office on marketing of the site
- Ensure the site team provide a high standard of customer service to the tenants and ensure complaints are satisfactorily resolved in a prompt manner
- Liaise with Head Office & Facilities to ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
- Ensure the site is managed within the agreed financial operating budget
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the site complies with the ANUK national code of standards.
- Maintain a safe and secure living and working environment for all.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience within the student accommodation/hotel sector.
