You’ll assist with the development of a world class 3D Printing bureau, supporting internal customers. It is a role that requires flexibility, teamwork, forward thinking and an eye for detail. The role requires an individual who can adapt to ever changing new technologies being introduced into 3D printing process

The successful applicant will be required to work on a double day shift.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Able to turn around 3D print builds in a timely manner making sure that all machines are running and maximising the best utilisation possible.
  • Interpretation of build instruction documentation for detailed part requirements
  • Hand finishing and preparation of 3D printed components to exceptionally high standards
  • Liaise and work with other functions and processes within the AMC
  • Utilise lean tools and working practices where necessary and to show an aptitude for developing processes and work well within motivated teams.
  • Contribute to improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Ensure quality of own work is maintained at all times as is the Health and Safety Policies.
  • Raise concerns and ask questions to solve problems, when necessary, escalate issues through appropriate channel
  • Adhere to company-wide and site-specific policies.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in operating and maintaining complex specialist machinery / equipment and will hold a City & Guilds Craft Apprenticeship or NVQ – to Level 3.
  • We are looking for someone with excellent hand finishing skills
  • A keen problem solver
  • The ability to work well within a team and on their own initiative.
  • A Team Player who has a thirst for knowledge that wants to grow with company.
  • Key skills that are not essential to the role but would be advantageous are previous experience within a 3D printing environment, or knowledge of 3D printing and Rapid Prototyping technologies along with working with Microsoft packages.
  • A good knowledge of vehicle components and/or engineering practices and an awareness of Health and Safety Processes.
