Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our team on the HMCTS contract covering the South of Wales on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

What will you deliver?

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Electrical and Buildings Services Engineering plant, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities.

Carry out routine PPM all electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and CAFM.
Complete reactive tasks throughout various sites and highlight areas where improvements can be made.
Swiftly remedy all plant faults and defects
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
Provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
Undertake lone working when and where required
Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
Carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
Participate in the oncall rota.

Who are we looking for?
Proven engineering experience
Hold formal engineering qualification to ONC, NVQ Level 3 or higher in an electrical subject
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
Plumbing & Heating Maintenance Experience.

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
