Job Vacancy: Mixing and Mastering Engineer
We are a new and dynamic music production company looking for a talented Mixing and Mastering Engineer to join our team. This is a part-time role initially, but a full-time position will be available as our business grows, with the potential to manage the facility. Our candidate will have the opportunity to grow with us, as we plan to expand across the country.
The Mixing and Mastering Engineer will be paid at a rate of £12 per hour initially. However, we are also open to paying on a per-project basis, in which case the engineer will receive 80% of the project fee, with the remaining 20% covering business costs and studio expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Mixing and mastering tracks to achieve high-quality sound
- Editing, cleaning and enhancing audio tracks
- Working with recording artists to create a polished final product
- Staying up-to-date with new mixing and mastering techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in mixing and mastering
- A thorough understanding of digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail and a strong passion for music
- Experience with a wide variety of musical genres is preferred
