We are continuing to operate and are looking for motivated people to join our team as a Mill Cleaner at our Feed Mill in Banbury, Oxfordshire on a FTC. Purpose of the role
Cleaning of machinery/silos/feedmill equipment and plant in accordance with customer specifications and task procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure cleaning of the mill is completed to the highest standards at all time
• You will need to wear protective clothing (PPE& RPE) provided by company and comply with Health & Safety legislation and policies
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly
• Deal with any management requests promptly and politely
• Work to agreed time allocations for each job given
• Working on own initiative and as part of a team to keep the mill clean and tidy
• Touch point/covid & general office cleaning, including toilets/ washrooms
• Report all hazards and near misses
• Give assistance the site team during breakdowns
• Operating required machinery such as scrubbers, pressure washers, mobile elevating work platforms and FLT (training given)
What we are looking for:
• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
• Experience in industrial cleaning is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Working Hours: 07:00-17:00 Mon to Fri
