Our clients rely on timely and efficient status reports, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. Your Role and Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Creating and executing project management plans, including scope and change controls, communication plans with stakeholder meetings, status reporting and project health metrics, and deliverables management with time and financial controls
- Cultivating teamwork and problem-solving while working under delivery expectations and deadlines
- Being able to motivate, be realistic, assertive, decisive, enthusiastic, supportive and always in pursuit of excellence.
- Work closely with clients, Partners and the IBM team to meet the overall integrated solution.
- Project Delivery
- Navigating across venues to resolve issues, developing and document risk mitigation strategies and provide project direction that quickly builds credibility and influences as a trusted advisor
- Driving client satisfaction and ensuring project completion on time and budget as per the Statement of Work
- Report and strategize solutions for managing project metrics including project health, financials-costs, revenue, and gross profit, team productivity, and client satisfaction.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- PMP designation is mandatory. If the candidate does not have PMP designation, he/she must obtain it within a 12 month period
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project), MS SharePoint
- 5 years of management/ leadership experience in Project Management"
