Band 5 Midwife - Newly Qualified
West Yorkshire and Harrogate Local Maternity & Neonatal System (LMNS) is looking to recruit enthusiastic newly qualified registered midwives to provide high quality, holistic perinatal midwifery care, sensitive to the needs of the woman and her family at one of the six hospital trusts within the LMNS. (Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust).
The post holder will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team in both the hospital and community settings, providing continuity of carer according to the local models of care. This includes partnership working with general practitioners, obstetricians, midwives, health visitors and all other agencies involved. To ensure that safe quality care is received by women and their families throughout the maternity pathway.
