Iris Interiors is a North East based design studio specialising in luxury residential interiors. Located in Corbridge, Northumberland, our talented team work on projects across the UK, specialising in creating modern, luxury homes with a unique style and a timeless design.
We are currently seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join growing design studio, the ideal candidate will be passionate about residential design and the ability to hit the ground running in a fun, fast paced environment.
What you will do:
- Participate in all stages of the design process from concept to completion, reporting to the Senior Designers and Director.
- Lead creative development of concepts, FF&E design and space planning to the highest level.
- Inspire and motivate the design team, overseeing Junior Designers across projects.
- Prepare and develop presentations for client meetings
- Co-ordinate and oversee project documentation such as schedules, specifications and design intent packages are ensure they are being produced to a high quality.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Designers and Director.
- Conduct site visits and liaise with trades, managing information provided by suppliers and subcontractors.
- Put together costings and budgets with financial understanding.
- Manage project programmes under the direction of the senior interior designer, ensuring a seamless project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Essential Requirements:
- 3 years of professional experience in a design
- Fluent in AutoCAD, In Design and Adobe Photoshop with strong project management & organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of the FF&E procurement process.
- On site experience and knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to interface with clients, hold their own and interpret and deliver their requirements.
- Knowledge of FF&E suppliers, products and finishes.
- Works well under pressure with an aptitude for multi-tasking and efficiency.
- An eye for detail and a meticulous approach.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
