Due to increased demand, we are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated Middleweight FF&E Designer to join ourfriendly and close-knit teamat our Cheshire studio on a freelance basis initially for 3 days a week

As a Middleweight FF&E Designer you will need to be able totake on a variety of projectswith ease and your focus will be on sourcing, production, and documentation of the FF&E and interior finishes aspects of interior design projects, working with and under the direction of project team leaders. Documents will include but not limited to specification documents, furniture plans, furniture drawings, control samples, details and more
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Documenting FF&E design on a variety of project types
- Sourcing, sampling, and creating FF&E designs.
- Producing presentation materials and in coordinating FF&E designs.
- Assist with on-site installations and ability to attend sites to carry out site surveys.
- Manage your own smaller scale projects.
- Assist with project record-keeping.
- Build and maintain good supplier and contractor relationships to ensure projects are delivered to Studio standard.
Successful candidates for our Middleweight FF&E Designeropportunity will have:
- A degree within (interior design or related field).
- Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness
- Great knowledge of Interior & Design as well as FF&E products, finishes, their fabrication techniques, and operational applications.
- Confident using AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and hand sketching.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in high end luxury residential or commercial sector.
- Be able to travel to site and factories (long distance travel cost are covered by the studio).
- Have strong organisational and time management skills.
- Be a team player and have strong customer care skills and ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
- Have a high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.
