About The Growth Foundation
At The Growth Foundation, we’re working with loads of really interesting growing businesses; from sportswear to sofas, cosmetics to NFTs. We work directly with the founders, so we’re right at the heart of things and can make a real difference to what they do.
The growth these companies are experiencing – especially if it’s very fast, or much slower than expected – can be scary, and make them feel uncertain and worried. But we’re a team of experts who know how to get growth right, and we help them avoid pitfalls and grab the opportunities. We help them across all aspects of their business with their eCommerce, trading, finding good people, CRM, brand and creative and – where you come in – Brand.
About the Role
We need you to create stunning work that helps our clients define their brands through ideas, storytelling and creativity. Although our clients come from all kinds of sectors, they tend to have a few things in common where brand and creative makes the difference:
- They’ve done really well selling amazing products, but they haven’t built a brand. To grow to the next level, they need to stand for something more.
- Their look and feel needs defining/totally overhauling.
- They’ve grown to a point where the founder can’t be everywhere, and the brand vision is getting lost in the growth.
- The founder has a vision for the brand, but can’t quite articulate it and needs help.
- They’ve only advertised on Instagram and Facebook and don’t understand the power of other media channels (digital, outdoor, TV, print etc.) and how to create for them.
You would be joining us to help with all these things. Getting stuck in to build amazing brands, tell incredible stories, make beautiful, head-turning work and grow our clients to the next level.
No two days will be the same. Your clients will vary in aesthetic maturity and need. Some days you’ll be working on big ad campaigns, on others you’ll be helping a client with the kerning on their logo. Everything from defining looks, developing brand books and making posters, to crafting decks, creating merchandise, making layouts for a web site and creating content.
About You
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years working in advertising, branding or design agencies.
- Great conceptual design skills - this isn’t about following brand guidelines, you’ll be helping young companies define their looks by leading by example
- Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills.
- Basic animation skills an added bonus.
