Job description
We are a family run business, established in 1985. We provide residential care for the elderly.
We are looking for a new person to join our team of friendly staff.
To manage and supervise a care shift.
To induct new care assistant's and take them through their induction programme and act as their mentor.
To be able to instruct and delegate tasks and act as a leader.
To be able to administer medication to service users.
To liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
To liaise with senior staff.
To identify potential hazards by risk assessments.
Keep accurate records and to complete care plans and reviews on the e-plan system.
Must display an attitude of professionalism and respect for team members and residents. Experience preferred.
Must have an NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care.
Must have good communication skills.
Be caring and have patience.
Have good time management.

5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.

Salary: £13.20-£14.20 per hour
